Turkey Day

So we had a great turkey day yesterday, I ate way to much as usual! But dinner was a great success! Auntie Shey and Jeff were our hostess and host, oh and Goofy too! The house was full to the brim I don't think that another person or animal (there were 3 dogs) would have fit. I got good practice trying to get through all the people for Black Friday today. I was up at 3:25AM and out the door by 3:45AM, at Wal-Mart around 4AM and then out by 5:30 and in line at Fleet & Farm by then and out the door there at 6:25 and then off to Menards. It was one crazy morning but dang I scored some great deals! That is all for this post as I am running low on steam for the day and I think that my bed is calling to me! Love to all, hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Only 28 days till Christmas!!

Cafe Luna

So last weekend we went to Cafe Luna to hear Courtney's boyfriend's jazz band play, and boy did we have a great time. I am talking three chocolate martini's good!! They played some great music including, Thriller, Ghostbuster's theme song and the Addams' Family! We got home quite late for us, 1am, but the next day was daylight savings so it worked out ok for us! I have now started my next set of classes at school, Psychology and Anthropology! Yesterday I took my first Anthropology test....yikes is all that I can say about that! Just a short post today, I have more homework to do :( and I have to keep plugging away on my Christmas gifts! Next weekend I will put up the tree with Amanda, make Christmas cards with Courtney, and scrapbook somewhere in there too!

Quiet House

The house is always so much quieter when Mate is gone. I have to turn the tv on or listen to some music when he isn't here because I don't like the silence. This picture is one of my favorites of him, I took it this past weekend when we were at Ridge Run. He looks so peaceful and in deep thought. I was suppose to be crocheting tonight since he wasn't home but somehow I got stuck on the computer! My OCD kicked in because I got my final essay grade in my history class...a 95% and I really want to know my overall grade...the waiting is killing me. I keep checking online but so far nothing...hopefully something will show up tomorrow!

Brand New Blog

So I thought that it was high time that I started blogging again. So much is going on and so much has changed since the last blog. Mate has no graduated, (looking for a job if anyone knows of anything) I have gone back to school, so far so good, I will know this weekend how I did on my two classes that I have taken so far this summer! Keep your fingers crossed! I have really gotten into crafting even more than usual, I am making all homemade Christmas presents this year, talk about ambitious! I almost have one of them done! Only several dozen more to go! I will post some photos of our walk in Ridge Run park this past weekend, I just love fall.
